What SurroScore is (and isn't)
SurroScore is a surrogacy agency marketplace and matchmaking platform. We help surrogates research, compare, and connect with surrogacy agencies that are a fit for their profile and goals.
SurroScore is not a surrogacy agency. We do not match intended parents with surrogates. We do not manage surrogacy contracts, medical protocols, or the legal process. We are the platform that helps surrogates find the right agency for their journey.
By using SurroScore, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
Who can use SurroScore
To use SurroScore and its matching features, you must be:
- At least 21 years old. Most surrogacy agencies require surrogates to be 21 or older, so this is a baseline requirement for the platform.
- A legal resident of a jurisdiction where gestational surrogacy is legal
- Acting in good faith — using the platform for its intended purpose
Anyone under 18 is prohibited from using SurroScore. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle this.
Surrogacy agencies may also create profiles on SurroScore subject to separate agency terms.
Free for surrogates — always
✅ SurroScore is completely free for surrogates. You will never be charged to browse agencies, read reviews, use the compensation calculator, complete the matching funnel, or connect with an agency. If anything on this platform ever asks a surrogate for payment, that is an error — please contact us immediately.
This is a core promise and it doesn't change.
How we make money
We believe in transparency, especially when you're making a big life decision. Here's exactly how SurroScore generates revenue:
- Agency referral fees: When a surrogate we match with an agency completes a placement (signs with the agency and begins their journey), SurroScore receives a referral fee from that agency — typically between $1,000 and $5,000.
- Agencies pay us because we deliver qualified, well-matched leads. You benefit because the matching is done in your interest — agencies compete for you, not the other way around.
This model means our financial incentive is aligned with finding you the right fit — we only get paid when a good placement happens. We don't benefit from steering you to any specific agency over another.

SurroScore does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Nothing on this platform — including articles, estimates, agency profiles, reviews, or matching results — constitutes professional advice of any kind.
Surrogacy involves significant medical procedures and legal agreements. You should:
- Consult a licensed physician before making any decisions about your health or medical eligibility
- Work with a qualified attorney who specializes in reproductive law before signing any surrogacy contract
- Seek independent financial advice if needed
Information on SurroScore is for general educational and informational purposes only. Reliance on any information provided by SurroScore without independent professional verification is at your own risk.
Compensation estimates
Our compensation calculator and funnel provide estimates only. These figures:
- Are based on publicly available data and aggregated reports from the surrogacy community
- Are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of any specific compensation amount
- May vary significantly based on agency, location, your specific profile, and timing
- Do not account for individual contract negotiations or agency-specific policies
Actual compensation is determined exclusively through the contract you negotiate with your chosen agency. SurroScore has no role in setting or guaranteeing compensation.
User reviews & content
SurroScore allows surrogates to leave reviews of agencies they've worked with. By submitting a review, you agree to the following:
- Honesty: Your review must be based on a genuine, first-hand experience with the agency you're reviewing
- Accuracy: You will not misrepresent facts, make knowingly false statements, or exaggerate
- No conflicts: You will not submit reviews for agencies where you have a financial interest or personal relationship that isn't disclosed
- No harassment: Reviews must not target individuals by name or include personal attacks
- Originality: Your content must be your own — no plagiarism or copying from other sources
By submitting content, you grant SurroScore a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content on our platform and in related marketing materials.
You retain ownership of your content and can request its removal at any time by contacting us at support@surroscore.com.
Platform rights & moderation
SurroScore reserves the right to:
- Remove or edit any user-submitted content that violates these terms, is inaccurate, or is otherwise harmful
- Suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms
- Modify, update, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time
- Decline to match or connect users with agencies at our discretion
We aim to be fair and transparent in all moderation decisions. If your content is removed or your account is restricted, you can appeal by contacting us.
Limitation of liability
SurroScore provides this platform "as is" and makes no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the information for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SurroScore and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of revenue, data, or opportunity
- Outcomes resulting from connecting with or signing with any surrogacy agency
- Actions or omissions of any third party, including agencies listed on the platform
In no event will SurroScore's total liability to you for any claim exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to SurroScore in the 12 months prior to the claim (which is $0 for surrogates, since the platform is free) or (b) $100 USD.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SurroScore will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we'll notify registered users by email.
Continued use of SurroScore after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the platform and request account deletion.
